Top 10 Artisan Chocolate Easter Bunnies

Wednesday March 22, 2006

What is Easter without a chocolate bunny rabbit? Among a basket of jellybeans, chocolate eggs, and marshmallow chickens, only the chocolate rabbit stands alone. Towering over the other treats, the bunny surveys all he sees and decides he is the most worthy of being eaten. Rightly so, but all bunnies are not created equal. For a truly gourmet chocolate experience, you must go to the artisan chocolate maker.
Here is a list of my favorite chocolate rabbits from world class chocolatiers.

Note - I recently read a poll that 75% of Americans report they eat the ears first.

You should try the Harvey Goldbunny from Wen Chocolates. I bought one this past year, and it was incredible; solid chocolate and covered in edible gold.

What is Easter without Marshmallows. I like my mallows to be from Tuccelli. The make the best marshmallows on the planet. Their gourmet hot cocoa mix is to die for.

You should try one of my Easter Bunnies. I also do these great Easter Eggs into which I put cute chocolate figures. I like the mold with the long ears. Tomric carries that. I have some molds from France and Switzerland and was thinking of also getting the floppy eared bunny. Kim, my wife, really likes that mold.
