Mexican Sangria Recipes for Cinco de Mayo

Tuesday May 2, 2006
Sangria is a traditional Spanish drink that combines wine with fresh fruit. A great alcoholic drink for parties, sangria also makes a great visual presentation when served in a large glass pitcher with ice and large wedges of fruit swirling about.

With the Cinco de Mayo holiday fast approaching, I've included two recipes in a more Mexican tradition. Both recipes have a higher alcohol content than traditional sangrias, making them wonderful for pairing with spicy foods.
