After five weeks of The Next Food Network Star, half of the contestants have been eliminated. Eliminated so far: Cory (New York City), Jeffrey (White Plains, NY) , Jennifer (Woonsocket, RI), Kevin (San Diego), Nipa (Victoria, MN). This leaves Aaron (Camden, NJ) the Executive Catering Chef for Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Adam (Philadelphia) an actor and server, Kelsey (North Ogden, UT) a culinary teacher, Lisa (Dallas) co-owner and special event planner of Suze Restaurant & Catering, and Shane (Colorado Springs, CO) owner of a catering service, Experience Dining. The winner of The Next Food Network Star gets his or her own show on the Food Network.
