Menu for the Dinner of the G-20 Financial Summit
Leaders of the G-20 (the twenty richest nations in the world) met November 14, 2008 at the White House to discuss the current economic crisis. They were treated to an exceptional dinner by Executive White House Chef Cristeta Comerford, from Fruitwood-smoked Quail with Quince Gastrique to a Pear Torte with Huckleberry Sauce. The words, "Let them eat cake" come to mind.
