Mostly Ghostly White Cake

This is a very lovely white cake, very very white cake. The ghosts are made of 7-minute frosting with a little cream of tartar to help them stand up. Chocolate sprinkles for the ghost eyes are the only bit of color on this spooky fun cake. A surprise waits inside for your happy guests with layers of raspberry jam. If you like, you can sprinkle shredded coconut over the top of the cake before adding the ghosts for a snowy effect.
