James Martin began his culinary career early working for his father who was a caterer. James began his formal training at the age of 16. Chef Martin was very successful as a chef before hitting it really big when he made his first television debut on Ready Steady Cook in 1996. James has made dozens of television appearances since then. James manages his own deli and bakery, Cadogan & James, in Winchester.
