What is food without drink? The beverage is an important component of any meal and should be considered with as much thought as any thing else. Matching the beverage (whether it be a wine, cocktail, or non-alcoholic drink), however, can be a challenging endeavor. Here you will find information, tips, and recipes related to beverages to make your task easier.

Lavender Margarita
This beautifully colored margarita uses traditional ingredients of tequila, lime and triple sec combined with a little twist - coconut milk, raspberries, blueberries and a little bit of lavender. Gorgeous presentation with a wonderful fruity taste.

Mulled Apple Cider with Candied Ginger
A warm glass of hot mulled cider is the perfect winter treat. Add a bit of Calvados or apple brandy and you have a delicious wintery cocktail. I prefer pure apple cider that is cloudy. It has a more complex flavor and is perfect for hot beverages. If you like the clear variety, though, that will work just fine.

Watermelon Sriracha Sangria
Sangria is a traditional cocktail of Spain and Portugal made with a red wine and chopped fresh fruit. This is a much lighter version - the perfect refreshment to cool down with on those hot summer days. Wonderfully flavorful, this drink is made with seedless watermelon, Calvados or rum, and some ginger ale. For a little kick, we add the popular Asian hot sauce Sriracha.
