Here's a great way to start your day or just as a healthy snack when you need a boost. Blueberries and nutritional yeast give you a good dose of B12 vitamins, the banana provides potassium, flaxseed for omega-3, soy milk and yogurt for protein, and a touch of honey to balance the sweetness.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup soy milk (or skim milk)
  • 1/2 cup fat-free yogurt (or vegan equivalent)
  • 3 strawberries (stems removed)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast (brewer's yeast)
  • 1 teaspoon flaxseed oil (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
