IN New York Magazine's 2005 Hotel Experience Awards
On February 13, 2006 IN New York Magazine, in cooperation with the Hotel Association of New York City, held their 2005 Hotel Experience Awards (HEA). The HEA award winners are selected by NYC hotel visitors. Award categories included Best Concierge Services, Best Room Amenities, Best Hotel Restaurants, Best Family-friendly Hotel, Best Business Services, and Best Overall Hotel Experience. Many winning hotels host some of New York's best restaurants.

Waldorf=Astoria Reopens Peacock Alley
The Waldorf=Astoria's Peacock Alley will be unveiled in November 2005, following a $5.5 million, Deco-inspired renovation and redesign. The new venue will include a restaurant, a bar and two private dining rooms. Modern and elegant, the stunning new Peacock Alley will embrace the future yet pay homage to the famed roots and history of The Waldorf.

Sante Magazine's 2005 Restaurant Awards
Sante magazine (the well-respected magazine for restaurant professionals) announces its 2005 Restaurant Awards. Now in its eighth year, the awards are the only peer-judged program for restaurants and hospitality in North America. The awards include four distinct programs: Service Professional, Culinary Hospitality, Wine Hospitality, and Spirits Hospitality.
