For the 12th consecutive year, Chef Wolfgang Puck has been selected by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to create the menu for the Governors Ball, the post-telecast celebration following the 78th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 5, 2006. Wolfgang and his team of chefs and pastry chefs will treat 1,600 guests to a multi-course, sit-down dinner at the Governors Ballroom in the Hollywood & Highland complex. The menu will be a culinary interpretation of the evening's themes with both classic favorites (like smoked salmon and caviar pizza) and new innovative dishes.
