Head Judge Tom Colicchio is an award-winning chef and restaurateur. Tom was born in Elizabeth, NJ. His many accolades include James Beard Award for Best Chef-New York (2000), Bon Appétit's American Food and Entertaining Award for Chef of the Year(2002), Craft Restaurant was awarded the James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant (2002), and Gramercy Tavern's sommelier won for Outstanding Wine Service (2002).
