Lobster mushrooms are actually white and are covered with a red symbiotic fungus.

Flavor/Texture: Sweet, delicate, hint of the sea, slightly crunchy, meaty texture. Sometimes slightly spicy.

Cooking tips: Great in egg dishes. Seafood. Bake, fry, saute. Don't overcook. Color will remain after cooking.
