magazine. In 2002, Jamie opened his first restaurant, Fifteen
while filming the series Jamie's Kitchen
. The restaurant has not only been a huge success financially but also trains disadvantaged youths to become professional chefs.
In June 2003, Jaimie was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the Queen's Birthday Honours List for services to the Hospitality Industry.
